AA 3196 First Seat 2D
Even though this was an American Eagle flight, in a Bombardier CRJ700 with very small overhead storage bins, I managed to get by roll-aboard on board and stowed in the bin above my head. My travel companions, seemed to lose theirs as we walk down the jet-bridge to the plane. Once on board we were offered drinks and I decided that a Bloody Mary was the order of the day.
We pushed back from the gate on time and seemed to have along taxi to the opposite end of the airport. Taking off to the east we wheeled round over the hotel still full of last-night’s party goers and then headed back north-westwards towards LAX. The flight was busy for the time of day, especially when you consider it was Sunday, but the service was good, and we were soon on our approach to LAX. It was a very foggy grey day in LAX so no photos this time.
A quick taxi brought us back the to the small mid-airfield building which is affectionately known as the Eagle’s Nest. This small building is used by the smaller aircraft operated by American Eagle.
