The plan on the trip was to maximise BA Tier-Points to keep my status the BA (Gold). To achieve this, the deal was we had to book 5 nights of accommodation with BA holidays, and the flights would be counted double. We were able to book 6 flights on the one trip. So 6 flights as 80 tier-points (480 pts) doubled 960 pts for one trip.
The plan was to fly to Istanbul and back, Bucarest and back, Tirana and back.
So what could go wrong?
